Over 60 men attended the Adirondack CBMC breakfast on June 13th at the Queensbury Hotel.
The speaker, Gary Biekarch a decorated war hero, did not disappoint as he shared his personal testimony of triumph over tragedy. His call to men to consider what “caves” they are hiding in was a poignant reminder of the need for us to face life head on and avoid the natural tendency to bury ourselves in activities that separate us from others. Gary further encouraged us to prioritize significance over success in life by engaging in the lives of others so as to leave a true and lasting legacy. The reminder that what happens inside us is more important than what happens to us focused on our need as humans for a real and personal relationship with our God and Creator, Jesus Christ. We are grateful for Gary and his testimony of Christ’s grace and mercy and His redemptive work that continues in the lives of men today.
