December 12th Meeting with Jamie Wallace

Jamie Wallace grew up in the Capital District a shy, stuttering young man with an admitted disinterest in school.  Obstacles aside and to his parent’s surprise, Jamie graduated high school and then attended college.  College and life goals were simple: to find a career and a wife which would enable him to live an ordinary life.  An encounter with a zealous Christian college classmate revealed a missing dimension – salvation by faith in the Creator.

September 19th Meeting with Bill Batkay

Bill Batkay’s pursuit of wealth exposed the fact there was something fundamental missing in his life.  That something was  “someone” in the person of Jesus Christ.  One day in January of 1997, Bill called a local pastor who shared an extraordinary message of forgiveness and fulfillment. Bill accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior that day…a day that changed everything.

Benjamin Deeb has committed his life to changing the culture of corrections and instituting change for incarcerated individuals.  His passion follows 24 years of active addiction, 10 years of which were spent in and out of jails and prisons.  A Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC), Ben works for the Prevention Council/Healing Springs Recovery Center as Staff Supervisor and in the Saratoga County jail leading the Incarcerated Peer Recovery Initiative supporting individuals seeking recovery.  He also sits on the board for Recovery Advocacy In

For the past 30 years Don has started, led, and sold numerous businesses. In 2007, Don learned of an international fund focused on economic and social development throughout the poorest regions of the world. Since that time, Don has been passionate about helping Christian investors to better understand their stewardship role to capitalize great commission companies and to support sustainable holistic transformational impact through business.
